This Purpose Warrior has a riveting story of how she lived through seasons of hurt and shame within the church as she waiting on God for a husband and family.
"I was a Sunday school teacher, I served on the board, I started a young adult ministry, I've led small groups. Mission team, I have made baskets for the homeless, anything you can think of. I think one of the major mistakes I made was thinking that doing these things would somehow prick the heart of God, to see my worthiness to receive those promises that have been spoken over to my life, those things that God has shown me, but then did to reach this ultimate state of being married and having kids, right, fast forward, I'm 43 years old, still single waiting."
Dayshawnna Littleton is my best friend, sorority sister, a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and the person who I wrote about in my debut book, From Pain to Purpose.
Dayshawnna is a professional quilter, speaker, guest lecturer, bible teacher, AND the CEO of Love Patch LLC. Dayshawnna designs quilt patterns and creates customizable memory and keepsake quilts. Her mission in life is to bring comfort to the bereaved, share in the joy of those who rejoice and provide guidance to those who are lost. Her purpose in life and the way that she brings comfort, joy, and guidance is by Touching Lives Through Tapestry.
