Greatest movies podcast ever!

These guys are fantastic. They follow a formula and themes that make every episode fun and enjoyable. The fact that they do not often see eye to eye or agree on a certain opinion makes this podcast all the more entertaining. If you are someone who likes movies, you will love this podcast and it will change the way you watch movies.

Best podcast ever

These guys are absolutely awesome. I don’t get out to the movies as much as I used to. I look forward to this show every week to get me laughing through miserable traffic. The cast is extremely relatable and difference is opinions meshes fantastic (Seabiscuit vs. Superhero). If you listen enough you’ll get that reference. Keep up the great work Cinemajaw crew. Listener for life.

Film Scholar Knowledge Without Film School Douchebaggery

This was the first movie podcast I tried and I quickly devoured as many episodes as I could. Excellent podcast centered around a "top five" format dedicated to a central theme. Throw in guest interviews, reviews and trivia and the time flies. This isn't necessarily ground breaking. Many other podcasts do something similar. The difference lies on the delivery. I've unsubscribed to so many podcasts because the hosts are so eager to let you know they are learned scholars at every chance they get. They might include some foreign drama from 1957 that no one has ever heard of. Others might talk at such a highbrow level that the only thing keeping you from falling asleep is the rage you feel about their condescending pretentiousness. (Somehow boring and infuriating) The one sure fire commonality is the use of the word "film" on an average of three times per sentence because only the unwashed masses call them movies. These guys aren't that way. (Actually Ry is a little bit this way but he manages to stifle it.) There is a ton of knowledge and insight without the aforementioned pretense. It's guys talking movies. Two complaints. First, no clips from the actual movies. Second, they do this ham fisted and pre scripted debate about a issue that is supposedly comes up naturally. The hosts then debate and the winner of the "war" gets to rant. This fails miserably on every level, every time. I wish they would drop it. Whether they do or not, I stay subscribed. Being a guest on Cinema Jaw is climbing up my bucket list. Become a Jaw Head. You won't regret it.
