Who will be the world's next Salvador Dali, Thierry Mugler, or Josephine Baker, launching a new wave of the avant-garde? How are new artforms created, developed, honed? And where exactly do today's artists and creatives find their inspirations?
Each week, join City of Muses host Jennifer Geraghty as she sits down with contemporary artists, poets, dancers, designers, and performers to explore what inspires them, what their creative processes are like, where their ideas come from, and how Paris has helped or hindered their dreams come true.

Ep 30 - Lala Drona: Painter and Visual Artist
For the Season Three finale of City of Muses, I am honored to be speaking with Venezuelan-American painter and video artist Lala Drona. Lala Drona has been a part of multiple international residencies, and her work has been exhibited in galleries all over the world. In her work, she examines themes of women in the digital world, the male gaze, and the abject feminine. Her latest solo exhibit, Virtual Residence at the Elios Gallery in Paris, just closed last month.
In our conversation, Lala Drona speaks candidly about everything from beauty to pornography to the power of birth. She shares where the online dystopian world she created came from, how she blends high-concept art with creative inspiration, how unilateral breast agenesis influenced her relationship with her art, and so much more!
