This is created by engaging citizens around the globe about the long-term negative impacts and positive solutions. The Climate Reality Project claims to have over five [5] million members and supporters worldwide. Founded and chaired by Al Gore, former Vice President of the United States and Nobel Laureate, this effort is guided by the scientific evidence that, "Climate change is real. There are practical methods, technologies, and processes, when combined with positive human leadership, can begin to slow, and possibly reverse, such negative impacts. This organization is helping citizens across the globe to discover the research and observations while taking meaningful steps to educate individuals and families on how to resolve pressing needs on a community-by-community basis.

According to published information by the organization there are more than 3,000 informed and trained climate change Presenters around the globe active in The Climate Reality Project. These peer-to-peer teaching volunteers are trained by Mr. Gore, with input, research, and data shared by leading scientists, researchers, and writers, to be leaders in their home communities and countries.
