Coach's Corner is for coaches who hate selling, but still want more high-dollar clients! Coaches need coaching on how to attract, close, and maintain clients in order to create a successful coaching practice. Robert Imbriale has been coaching since 1995 and has served as the Head Coach and Coaches Trainer for Anthony Robbins and Associates in Chicago, IL. During his time in Chicago, he coached more than 2,000 people face-to-face and honed his coaching skills, and more importantly learned how to sell coaching without the hard sell. He created a system that allowed him to close better than 80% of the clients he met with and has been training coaches on that system ever since. Subscribe to this podcast if you're a coach and want to know how to build a better coaching practice fast!
What’s Coming Next?
You don't have to be a genius to look around and see that the world around us is anything but normal. There is unrest in so many places today that it's hard to keep track of it all.
The question I tend to concern myself with more than any other is the question of what's coming next. I love to have a feel for what's ahead so I can be prepared as best I can and I know many of clients feel the same way too.
When you're prepared, at least mentally, you can handle a lot more than if you're taken completely by surprise.
So, what I aim to do with my podcast, my articles, my interviews, and with every conversation I have with family, friends, associates, and clients is to let them all know what I have discovered about what may come next.
I'm not always right, but I'm prepared and that to me is more important than being right. In this episode of Coach's Corner, I'll share some thoughts on what to be watching for as the days progress into this summer. Some of what I thing will happen may not actually happen, but at least if it does, you'll be ready!
Navigating Uncertainty Today
I was driving to my studio today and thinking about how things were prior to COVID. And I wondered if they would ever go back to those times. Sadly, I think we have moved too far now to ever go back. We are in fact living in very different times. When you look forward, do you see a predictable path forward or do you see continued chaos? Most of the coaches, business owners, and entrepreneurs that I speak with these days remain uncertain about the future. They cannot see past all the disruptions, the fear, the politics, and the fear. Can you blame them? It's simply not "business as usual" even thought we all wish it were!So how can you navigate it all? I suggest that you stay informed. Stay connected to real news and get the facts, not the narrative. Yes, that takes time, it takes effort. But that's what our people look to us for.. answers. I want you to remain informed. I want to stay on top of everything, as much as you can. And I want you to join us in stepping up and talking about the issues with anybody who will listen. That is our path forward and it cannot happen without as many of us as possible stepping up now.
When does it all end? The Lockdowns, masks, fear, anger..
Listen, it's been rough. It continues to be rough and in some places it's getting worse as more and more shutdowns seem to just keep coming.
It's taxing on us all. Being deprived of our basic freedoms (like breathing freely in public) is causing very bad depression in our society. We're frustrated. We're angry. Our leaders have been compromised, bought out, threatened, and are totally feckless.
Our courts have turned their backs on us. And who knows where our military is and what they are planning, or not.
There's not a lot of great news on the horizon, and the question on our minds is when does it all end? When can we get our lives back? When we get back to building our businesses, get back to following our dreams, setting new goals, creating new relationships, and just plain old having fun!
Well, I have some thoughts on all of this and a solution that will get us to the end of this horrible pandemic sooner rather than later.

Tell Your Friends
I see a lot of people asking for guidance on what they can do right now to help our current situation. Tell your friends!
Now, if you're happy with they way things are, there isn't anything for you to do, but you would be in the minority. If you're like me and you're simply not liking much of anything that is happening, you may be motivated to do something, but you not know what to do.
It's normal to feel that way in these very uncertain times. Can you post your thoughts on social media? You may get censored!
Can you talk about sensitive issues with your family, friends, neighbors, and associates? You may be feeling fearful about bringing up such topics, so you remain silent.
We're living in a time where being silent is no longer an option. At the risk of being cancelled, offended, and in some cases, even attacked, it's not a time for us to remain silent. They are counting on us not speaking up because that is how we will ultimately turn things around.
In this episode of my podcast, which I've completely dedicated to current events, I'll share some of things you can do right now.. even if you can't get the word out on social media.

This Has to Stop Now
This past week, I could see that there is increasing anger in our society as more and more people are not at all liking the way things are going. From much higher gas prices to the situation at our border, things don't seem to be getting better.
But there is a more pressing issue that I'm also seeing and experiencing that has to stop now. It's an issue that is destroying relationships, families, businesses and ultimately will destroy our country if we continue to act as we have been.
There is, in my view, no reason for all the division, the hate, the cancelling, and the censorship. A disagreement is not a reason to cancel a relationship, end a friendship, or fire an employee. Yet, these things have been happening all around us, and it seems to be getting worse with each passing day.
What if there were a better way? What if there were some things you and I could do to bridge the gaps between us and start coming together again instead of pushing apart?
In this episode of Coach's Corner, I give you some solid ideas on how we can (and I have been doing) just that. Listen, we cannot live without relationships. And we are not going to agree on everything, nor should we. There is a better way.

Here is Where Our Power Is
It can be quite frustrating to feel boxed in and unable to share comments, posts, ideas, and opinions that are not in line with that the powers that be approve of. This is censorship and it's unAmerican on every level. If you've been paying attention, you can see how it started slowly with just a few posts here and there being removed. And since it began, it's only gotten more and more aggressive. And it wont' stop unless there is pushback against it.
That's where we come in. It feels that we have no power, that we just have to sit back and accept all of this censorship, but in fact, the opposite is actually the truth. We do, on so many levels, have enormous power to impact what's been going on and we can indeed crush it before it crushes us.
In this episode of Coach's Corner, I'll share some of my thoughts on this and I would strongly suggest that if you find value in what I have to say, you share this message with your friends and followers too. It's a message many need to hear if we are to stop the craziness that's happening all around us.
