The girls are back and they welcome this new chapter. Thank God for his grace! In the season opener, MJ and Dani are happy to be back on the mic. The past year has been filled with unimaginable highs and lows. One thing they know for sure - they are stronger together. Focused and determined to live their best lives in our new pandemic world, your fave duo brings you up to speed on the year that almost broke them and the pivots made so they could make it through. This episode is dedicated in loving memory of Nasir R. Shakir 1976-2020.

My People, My People... MJ and Dani are back and the goal was to return in their best possible state of mind - because the current state of the world is mentally challenging us all! This week’s guest Dr. Tyson Boudreaux renowned psychiatrist snatched the girls together. Dr. Boudreaux’s wit, passion, and knowledge is sure to leave you with food for thought that will support you in learning to live with the effects of the current ways of the world be it the global pandemic or cultural revolution and fights for injustices. It’s been a while and the episode is longer than most, but hopefully, you’ll enjoy it to the last word!

Your favorite duo is on the mic, well the Zoom. Aren’t we all still practicing social distancing? We should be! MJ is adjusting to being indoors and settling into what it seems to be a homemaker. And Dani, well she finally left the house but hasn’t had a hug in a minute. When this is all over, MJ wants a sleepover, but what kind?

Well, your fave duo is at it again. You know they don’t hold back. MJ is social distancing in the bedroom and admits she is not with some of the gender roles that have been placed upon her during these times. Dani is grateful for her video chat hopping and misses the physical closeness of friends along with the option of hugging people...especially her mom. The pandemic is hitting us all, but the girls are not stopping. Their support for each other and commitment to live out loud with transparency to encourage and inspire their audience has not wavered. The theme remains the same, “Until we get by, I’m on your side. I’ll be your shoulder through the rough waters...”

Alone together, MJ and Dani record their first episode while practicing social distancing; they’re in two different states! In this episode, the ladies catch up on how COVID-19 is impacting their lives and the world. MJ is participating in virtual yoga classes and Dani enjoys virtual happy hours. One thing is for sure, they’re committed to staying connected with each other, their families, friends and YOU!
