NEW take on the classic Valiant podcast. We talk collecting the comics, monthly sales numbers, and quite possibly we speculate on future books. Tune in and listen!
The DMG Episode
Do not say we did not warn you! This is by far the most explicit episode we have had. With less than 12 hours of knowledge under our belts, the Collecting Valiant Comics Podcast crew host Brian Wells and they talk about the ousting of Dinesh from Valiant.
It Is The Fat Albert and Grampa Vs. Grandpa Debate
In this episode the Immortal Brothers debut a new segment, it is called "JC's Analytics." JC takes a look at the past few years of Valiant solicitations, and how the 1:50 and greater variants have been ramping up, and how current solicitations (all titles) have 1:50 variant. If you are a completionist, this will break down the costs associated with collecting all the solicit books only. We ask ourselves, is it even necessary? We also discuss the first eBay sale of Ninjak #0 NYCC Exclusive (Ninjak vs. the Valiant Universe) Photo variant ($315) and the second eBay sale of ($355). Only one seller has copies of it, and the online community are speculating it is someone with the Valiant HQ's. We have no clue whom it might be, but we would love to know!To lighten the mood, we read our latest reviews, and an email from Six Stars Skateboard Professional, Ruben Najera.

An aspirational 5-stars!
I've been a regular comic reader since the early 2000s but only been a Valiant fan for the last few years (jumped in due to Lemire and Kindt's The Valiant) but nearly everything I've read from them has been top notch! Listening to the podcast, it's been fun to listen to super fans and get some of the history but also great to get some tips on collecting and collecting to sell.
The "aspirational 5-stars" is due to occasionally poor sound quality.
Here's my haiku:
Valiant is real dope
Divinity is the best
And also Bloodshot
Oustanding Podcast, very well done. I have been a life-long valiant fan and very much appreciatte the re-newed interest in Valiant Comics. These three gentlemen present a fun and entertaining look into the world of collectiong valiant. Thanks for what you do, look forward to your future broadcasts. Stay Valiant!
Great information for diehard Valiant fans & new collectors alike!
An entertaining and eclectic look into current events in the Valiant universe. Great stories and insight about collecting comics and a bit about how market forces impact comic book prices. I particularly enjoyed the inside stories about C2E2: guys leaving flats at the bar (GASP) and cosplayer antics (Al & Peg, Batman, and the original Shadowman).
And yes - you don't have to take your clothes off to get a gold cover; you just have to know what the Valiant booth and panel staff are looking for!
