Colorism and Cannabis: The journey of an Afro-Latina Cannapreneur w/ @visinequeen BlueDream Radio

    • Entrepreneurship

One of the biggest underlying problems affecting Latinos is colorism. When we think about
racism it is usually against people outside of their ethnicity; colorism is discrimination against
your own because they have a darker or lighter complexion. In the cannabis industry, you often
see someone with a lighter complexion getting a job, promotion, and special treatment because
they are considered to be more beautiful or valuable than someone with darker skin.
This week we will speaking with a Dominican cannapreneur, influencer, visual artist and writer
@Visinequeen. This powerful sister is breaking down down the walls of colorism in the cannabis
industry and will talk to us about how she using her art and her writings to fight back against
hatred and oppression in the industry.
So sit back, roll up and get higher with BlueDream Radio!!
