Rodney King, Modern Martial Artist that Walks the Walk
Rodney King is the creator and founder of the Crazy Monkey Defense system, a modern martial art that is primarly based on street Boxing and BJJ. Unlike YouTubeFU videos Rodney doesn't pretend that a couple of staged techniques are going to do anything other than potentially getting you killed, and he and his coaches are constantly pressure testing everything.
Which brings us to these podcasts. Unlike some, Rodney spends as much time on the inner game as he does on the physical game, his stated goal being to help his clients to succeed on and off the mats and he is very sincere about that.
Even if you don't have access to train with Rodney or one of his coaches ( if you do, you should! ) you can his get insights on a number of topics ranging from the inner game, to the nature of physical violence and how to deal with it by listening to these podcasts.
I can't reccomend Rodeny's stuff highly enough. Full disclosure, I train at CMD USA under Eric Kolesar, so sure I am highly biased, but I am highly biased because I have experienced how well this stuff works, at the both the physical and mental levels.
