Not for me. It's fantastic.
I listen to this podcast because it is not made for me. I was brought up in a suburb in white america where only in the decade before I was born there were laws on the books that prevented non-white people from living there. This podcast has helped me to begin to understand the america I never knew existed. Please listen.
Christian? Really?
Be careful. So far from the Truth. Finding identity in a social construct is not what the Bible teaches. At all. Christian identity is found in Christ.
Fighting for my kids
I am a white woman of biracial children and can relate to Ally’s feelings about wanting to be part of a change for her children. As I watch my kids grow older I worry about when they will start seeing how racism affects them. I desire a better world for them! I want to fight for them and Ally’s voice helps remind me the importance of that.
