Four Color Pleasure!
This is the kind of comic book podcast that we need more of in our community. Thoughtful, rich conversations that never feel alienating. The discussions are warm, entertaining, and inviting. Start with their Death of Superman episode and work backward from there. Stop reading this review and just click subscribe.
Dynamic Hosts!
Dave is a natural at leading fluid, engaging conversations and his wealth of knowledge on comics is astonishing. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone with even a vague interest in the subject.
Like a love letter/voicemail to comics
The dynamic between Dave and Dan sells me on the show. One is an expert, and the other has fresh opinions that grizzled comic book fans might not think of. Reading the stories ahead of the episodes adds an extra layer of entertainment value, but its not necessary. Listening to two friends effortlessly shoot the breeze about comics I've never read is still fun.
