This world is full of believers whose voices are not being heard because they do not fit into mainstream Christian culture. Therefore, the emergence of the spiritual underground, which is buzzing with new life and innovation as a random network of misfits find each other, and a much needed place of safety. These past few years, Common Hymnal has served as a connecting point for this community, and, in the process, built a well-stocked library of new songs, unheard stories and interesting ideas. A key thread: worship with a social conscience. In this podcast, we will keep you updated about our collaborative endeavors, and give you the chance to meet the people in our orbit and hear about their personal ventures.

More than music--but it's music
I was first attracted to this podcast because of the music produced by the team. Eclectic groups gather, develop music, and then produce and share it. Beautiful works.
But they're more than that. Deeper. Wider. Higher. Justice and worship and fun and disruption.
I'm excited for the waves of new music coming out and new groups springing up like fresh water spilling onto dry and dusty ground.
It's the real deal here.
This is a place for the wounded and the weary and the war-torn to come find relief, release, and restoration.
So so dope.
These weird people are kewl.
I love CH!!
Truthful. Encouraging. Inspiring. Beautiful!
