    Commonly Uncommon - David Hooper

On this Episode, I talk with David Hooper.  He is from Nashville, TN and is known for his work in the music business, but made the switch over to the podcasting world in 2005.  He now helps entrepreneurs build their businesses and grow their audiences helping to sharpen the message to be relevant in the podcasting space.  He is the author of the book Big Podcast.  This book helps guide you on how to grow your podcast audience, build listener loyalty and get everyone talking about your show.
We start out by talking about how to get out of your own way to make things happen for you.  We then get into his time in the music and radio industry and how he made the switch to podcasting.  David and I discuss what technological advances afford us to do now compared to years ago.  It was great talking with David and if you are thinking of starting a podcast or just looking to get a message out, I would urge you to take a look at David’s book, Big Podcast or even take his course at https://www.bigpodcast.com/.  He brings a ton of experience and offers value beyond any course I’ve taken to learn about podcasting.
