After 25 years at the Late Night desk, Conan realized that the only people at his holiday party are the men and women who work for him. Over the years and despite thousands of interviews, Conan has never made a real and lasting friendship with any of his celebrity guests. So, he started a podcast to do just that. Deeper, unboundedly playful, and free from FCC regulations, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend is a weekly opportunity for Conan to hang out with the people he enjoys most and perhaps find some real friendship along the way.

Important topics

When the 9/18 episode came out, I didn't know who the guest, Maria Bamford, was. But I listened anyway and I'm so glad I did. I always appreciate Conan being an advocate for mental health and I'm grateful he brought on Maria, who had a lot of mental health struggles of her own...and they put a great and hilarious spin on it all! Thanks for telling these important stories with a dark humor twist.

The podcast is very toit.

I love the podcast and would love to be a friend with all of them. I love the funny banter, the conversations with people, basically all of it. I really love Sona's laugh, it causes me to continue laughing. Keep up the great work!
