99 episodes

After 25 years at the Late Night desk, Conan realized that the only people at his holiday party are the men and women who work for him.

Over the years and despite thousands of interviews, Conan has never made a real and lasting friendship with any of his celebrity guests. So, he started a podcast to do just that.

Deeper, unboundedly playful, and free from FCC regulations, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend is a weekly opportunity for Conan to hang out with the people he enjoys most and perhaps find some real friendship along the way.

Best part of my day!

I love the podcast! Conan O’Brien is so funny and I literally put this podcast on while I’m at work. I’ve listened to every single one multiple times. Conan still has it and this is coming from a 19 year old.

Miller Time with Rodman

First of all, love the radio show! There is a commercial you do for Miller Lite that I love. Specifically the part where Sonna chimes in at the end. One of the people she didn’t mention having Brewski’s with is Rodman. Is that Dennis Rodman? If so please explain what a night of drinking and talking butterflies is like when he comes over. Matt and Sonna all I can say is I pray for you.

When it’s good, it’s hilarious

The podcast shines most when it’s just Conan and the guest casually riffing. Some guests come off a bit too rehearsed, but the ones that are just there to chat with Conan and not tell their life story are the true gems.
