004_The Power of Storytelling Through the Eyes of a Stroke Survivor

Every episode of Connect with Confidence is special. But, today's episode, is especially near and dear to my heart because I am joined by a very dear friend of mine.

Nikki Steele had a stroke at the young age of 26. After 4 years of recovery - both physical and mental - she now uses her platform to share her incredible story and encourage others to do the same.

Talking about hard things in our life is just that - it's hard. In this episode, Nikki talks about the mental roadblocks she overcame in her new self identity as a stroke survivor and the beauty that lies on the other side of sharing her story.

Today's conversation is one of hardship, struggle but, most importantly, hope. As you listen to Nikki's journey, my hope is that you feel inspired to tell whatever story it is that you have been wanting to share with the world.

003_Why Your Content Isn't Connecting...and How to Fix It

003_Why Your Content Isn't Connecting...and How to Fix It

Do you struggle to write content that actually makes an impact? Are you frustrated because you spend so much time thinking about what to say but don’t see the engagement you want? Do you wish you knew exactly what it is your audience wants to hear?

If so, this episode is for you.

Content = connection and connection is what drives any successful business. In order to make an impact on your ideal client(s), you must first get them to trust you. That trust is derived from your ability to be relatable and show that you understand what your audience needs and wants.

Too often, we create content in a silo. We sit in front of our computer and begin typing without first giving thought to what the experience will be for the person on the other end. In today’s episode, I break down 4 critical questions you should ask yourself before ever creating content to help ensure it has the impact you desire.

I’ve also created a free PDF guide, ‘Create Content that Connects,’ (link below) that follows along with today’s episode to make answering these questions even easier for you. Be sure to grab your copy.
