A music show featuring tracks freely available from the internet. You won't like all of it, you may hate some of it, but I hope you'll find something you wouldn't have heard and which you'll love.
A long-awaited episode as a Christmas surprise. Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad.
Let's never mention the gap between this episode and the last again.
Continental Drift Radio - Show 4
Nearly ten months have past and finally I get things together for show 4. This show features another 8 tracks including one piano-only one and fine selection of Canadian music. The sound quality of the links isn't the best but I'd better release the show.
Continental Drift Radio - Show 3
Finally the third episode appears. Pretty much on time for this one, only 4 days late. This time around I've made a change in the way I do things. Rather than plan out what I'm going to say I decided to make brief notes, such as the web addresses for the artists and labels, and to just make the rest up as I go along. It may make me sound less like an automaton. Who knows?
Continental Drift Radio - Show 2
The second episode of Continental Drift Radio featuring some more tunes I've liked during the last few months. This show is my first with my new iMic so the quality of the links is better (in sound at least!). No jazz this time around despite the promises I made, maybe next time.
Continental Drift Radio - Show 1
The first episode of Continental Drift Radio featuring some of the tunes I've liked during the last few months. This show is the first of what I'm sure will be a few experiments while I tinker with the format and get used to the sound of my own voice (you know what I mean). This episode features a mixture of slow songs and electronic tunes, I'll vary the songs later, it just happened to turn out this way this time.
In case you're wondering, the title "Continental Drift Radio" refers to the length of time it has taken me to do this. I first talked about it about 5-6 months ago and have finally got my act together now. From now on I'll try to make the shows more frequent.
