Episode 74: Putting Together a Crew

If it's the All-Star Break, that means it's time for another star-studded roundtable. This year's crew is a little smaller, but plenty of quality thoughts as Tara Wellman (Bird Seeds, @tarawellman) and Adam Butler (Bird Law, @lancedance1) look back over the first half, most notably the stunning news from Saturday about the dismissal of Mike Matheny. There's not a lot of optimism, but Tara (Bird Seeds), Kevin (STL Cards 'N Stuff), Allen (The Redbird Daily), and the sister act of Laura and Holly (STL Cardgals) still have a good time talking about what's gone wrong, what needs to improve, and their favorite Cardinal moments.

A Voice of Reason

Recently started listening to this show, and love the host’s clam demeanor and lack of pretense - especially because the guy has the credentials to play that card if he chose! Dan’s thoughts are insightful and well researched. Likewise, he chooses guests that bring a fresh informed perspective and are well worth listening to. Highly recommend!

Calm, cool, C70

Daniel does an excellent job of disarming folks while interviewing them, which results in great, conversational banter. Completely unassuming and genuine, the host is able to carry on a conversational style throughout the podcast that allows the scheduled 20 minute interview to run into an hour or so without the guest or the listener noticing.

Highly recommend subscribing to this podcast. Great work!
