Customer Reviews
This is my favorite podcast!
I love listening to this podcast! Very interesting academic discussion. I loved it when they discussed pouring cement and the correct procedure of laying concrete tiles. I also thoroughly enjoyed the segment comparing their favorite pieces of 18th century French Literature (with mine personally being Manon Lescaut), it was great to hear Ben's thoughts on Denis Diderot and Jackson's critique of Candide. The one part that I wouldn't really recommend was the discussion on how early Big Band groups shaped pop and standards for the next several decades, while the topic of discussion was very interesting, it was obvious that Ben and Jackson weren't very well-versed in the works of the ever-present Count Basie and Duke Ellington's bands. It was a shame to hear the intelligent conversation cut short based on a lack of knowledgeable participants engaged in the exchange. But other than that discussion, it is definitely my favorite podcast!
