    Episode 65: Jen Mons

    Episode 65: Jen Mons

    Episode 65: Jen Mons
I was so thrilled to land in presence with Jen Mons and to hold space for her to share her brilliant energy, heart, and deep wisdom on the show. Not only is she an Author, Speaker, International Retreat Facilitator, and Mentor for Female Wellness Leaders and Coaches all around the world, Jen is also one of the most real, nurturing, and vibrant humans I’ve had the pleasure to cross paths with over the last year. In this episode, she opens up about her journey from being a former military academy graduate, engineer, and corporate executive, and going through a near-death experience with the birth of her first daughter to very quickly (in that experience) deciding to take a different path of integrative health, holistic wellness, functional medicine, and detoxification. However, in 2014, Jen went through another health scare that woke her up to the realization that, although she had drastically changed her lifestyle, she hadn’t changed her behavior. “I was still over-giving and over-doing.” And that is when Jen dove much deeper into breathwork, yoga, energy healing, and her spiritual work, and learned how to truly embody her practices. Her daily life became the meditation. In our conversation, we also talk about love and connection, the practice of receiving, body wisdom, being curious about our why, and slowing down. Near the end of the episode, Jen shares about her two books, her Body and Soul Wisdom Podcast, and the wonderful ways in which you can work with her. Enjoy soaking up Jen’s incredible energy, authenticity, and inspiration. And if you are interested in reaching out to her directly, you can find her at www.jenmons.com.
