Episode 81: Core Power Yoga’s Chief Yoga Officer Heather Peterson Drama-Free Healthy Living With Jess Cording

    • Alternative Health

Today’s guest is Heather Peterson, who is CorePower Yoga’s Chief Yoga Officer. Heather focuses her practice on yoga, meditation, mindfulness, mindful leadership, tapping, breathwork, stress and anxiety. Throughout her journey in the wellness profession, Heather has dedicated herself to helping others find the magic which exists when the physical meets the mindful.

There are so many takeaways from my chat with Heather, but here are some of my favorites:
Mindfulness practices, like those offered by CorePower Yoga, can impact our lives in amazing and long-lasting ways. Whether we’re speaking of a nutrition program or an exercise regimen, it’s important to remember that what works for us today likely won’t work next year. Because of the nature of life -- it changes and we have to adapt -- being flexible and understanding what works and what doesn’t is especially important. Tapping can be a great tool in navigating emotional challenges. Healthy living means living with vitality so that you can fully feel an experience.
