TCB # 16 Interview With Darrell Van Citters
Darrel Van Citters owns his own animation studio. His career began an artist at Disney feature animation. The story about how he left Disney, why he left and what happened after, which lead to him owning his own animation studio is a part of the conversation we have in this recording.
Not only that but Darrel is also an author. He wrote a book on The Art of Jay Ward. The story about how that came about is something we also talk about.
If you don’t know who Jay Ward is, he’s the producer of Rocky and Bulwinkle. We talk about the show’s production and art, which believe it or not, was animated in Mexico.
Sit back and enjoy, this is a fun conversation.

Interview with Animation Character Designer Dan Haskett
One of the best artists in the business. He’s still drawing on paper too.
He designed the Little Mermaid, and helped design Batman for the 90s animated series and Tiny Toons.
You can see some of Dan's art by following the link below:

This conversation goes deep. We don’t just go into his career but the philosophy behind being an artist in this industry. It’s a great conversation.
I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
