We enter the Upper Room where Jesus prepares His disciples for what appears to be total defeat, yet is actually the blueprint for God's greatest victory. The central tension is profound: what happens when the King shows up and nothing looks like what we expected? Jesus declares He is the way, the truth, and the life, but within hours, the way appears to be a dead end, the truth stands trial, and his life is forfeit. The trial before Pilate becomes a masterclass in irony, the prisoner evaluates the judge, the accused declares his authority, and a mock coronation by brutal soldiers becomes the actual coronation of the King of Kings.
