    Surprising Lessons Learned from Moving to a New Place with Ana Munoz

    Ana Munoz is back to talk about her life since our previous session, which took place a year ago.  Ana shares her experience of moving from New Jersey to Orlando, Florida and adjusting to life in Florida. We discuss various topics such as motherhood, communication, and Ana's career path.  In this episode, Ana emphasizes the importance of mindful communication and shares her experience with hypnosis coaching sessions. We also discuss the deeper purpose behind our desires and goals, with Ana encouraging people to face their fears and embrace their unique qualities.  After a decade of supporting moms through their childbearing years with massage therapy and doula work, Ana recognized that her clients recurring physical ailments were connected to how they were processing their thoughts and emotions around pregnancy and motherhood. This led her to pivot her approach towards supporting women through all stages of their childbearing years by learning the language of the unconscious mind through hypnosis. She now supports moms by using various hypnotherapy tools to help moms let go of emotions and thoughts that keep them feeling stuck, and open them up to the possibility of thriving in motherhood. Ana lives in Orlando with her husband and daughter and can be often found exploring her beautiful new city. She now offers virtual hypnosis sessions. Carmina is a multimedia artist and brujx based in Oakland, California. As a first generation Mexican American, their work reflects a state of being in between worlds. Drawing from Nahua, Basque, and Sefardí magical traditions, as well as their vivid dream landscapes, they explore ancestral communion, gritty sensual power, and possibilities in floral masculinity. Their work is concerned with integrating the dark regenerative principle and conjuring other-than-human communication to reveal the imminent animate world. Their creativity is influenced by Indigenous Mexican views on gestation and childbirth, and they work with herbs, bodywork, and astrology to guide people through life transitions.
