The COUNCIL HOUSE RADIO Show with Host & DJ TOMMY D FUNK is a unique blend of groove collective sounds: nu-jazz, broken beat, downtempo, jazzy rhythms, disco, dub, nu-soul and beyond, all selected and masterfully mixed by New York City's finest Mancunian deck slayer. Emerging out of the blossoming UK House / Acid House scene in the late 1980's, early 90's was a DJ destined for a great future - TOMMY D FUNK took his place as a renowned DJ playing as resident at DRY Bar 201 - the Haçienda's sister bar, before subsequently progressing to take a weekly residency at the Haçienda and going on to international acclaim, then moving to New York City! Not only renowned as a sick house music master, Tommy has been bringing his special blend of hard-hitting and rhythmic sounds to clubs, bars and radio shows all over the world for nearly three decades now, and now, each and every month on COUNCIL HOUSE RADIO.
