Imagine being wrongfully convicted for a crime you didn't commit, or imagine your child's killer is still on the loose even though there's enough evidence for an arrest. I want to help shine light on the injustices of our judicial system. I delve into court documents, attend trials, and interview those close to the case to help me tell their stories.

Home Invasion or Murder From The Inside? (Sandra Melgar)

Home Invasion or Murder From The Inside? (Sandra Melgar)

It’s a case that has been covered and picked apart for years, yet there are still many questions that linger. In December 2012, Houston police responded to a brutal murder scene - Jim Melgar was found dead in his bedroom, while his wife of 32 years, Sandra Melgar, was tied up in a bathroom closet. Sandra told investigators she had suffered a seizure and didn’t know who killed her husband and locked her up. Investigators didn’t believe her, and she was charged and later convicted of his murder.
Is Sandra a cold-blooded killer, or is an innocent person in prison?

Meeshinthecity ,

Better than court.

I really enjoy this podcast. It reminds me of the enjoyable aspects of law school. Jillian goes in depth on each case and includes case details and audio you can’t find by simply googling.

This show must take a ton of work and it pays off!
