Jeremy Darlow - Brand Consultant and 2x Best-Selling Author

If you’ve been with Court to Corporate since day one, then odd ares that you’ve heard me talk about these two books I recommend for every current and former student-athlete.  Athletes Are Brands Too and Brands Win Championships are two books that I read immediately after wrapping up basketball, that have inspired the work I do today and  set the foundation for my career, so it’s an honor to share my conversation with the creator himself.

Jeremy Darlow is a leading brand consultant, former Director of Marketing for Adidas football and basketball, adjunct marketing professor, and of course author of Brands Win Championships and Athletes Are Brands Too.

We kick this episode off with jumping into how Jeremy built his career as a multi-hyphenate all at the intersection of athletes & brands. We then dive into what athletes today need to know about building their brand, from the first steps to how building your brand the right way can lead to career success.  We also discuss predictions of the next of athlete brands and what it will take for athletes to differentiate themselves in the future.

KathlMalloch ,

A fresh voice on a much needed discussion!

As a former athlete myself, the transition from college athletics into the workplace is difficult. However, that experience shapes many of the successes, skills, and insights I have had in the time since. C2C shines a light on this theme, through the eloquent, candid, and clear voice of Kirby Porter! Would recommend to anyone - former athletes, business professionals, or interested listeners!

Inspiring and informative

My favorite thing about this podcast is the authenticity in perspectives and conversations that Kirby and guests bring. An absolute must for all athletes, this is a platform that will go on to inspire many. I also think the podcast has some great tips about how athletes should be thinking about their futures with a long term perspective.

Must-Listen!

This podcast offers a refreshing take on the magic that happens once athletes take their talents beyond the game. C2C’s “no limits” perspective inspires non-athletes and athletes alike and encourages people to blend all of their identities and skills into creating a blueprint for personal success.
