This week on the APL nextED Mini-Pod, we are joined by Georgia State Associate Provost Nicolle Parsons-Pollard to talk about the current atmosphere of diversity, equity and inclusion within higher education and how COVID-19 impacted DEI initiatives.COVID-19 flipped a switch within higher education causing many campuses to become vacant and requiring students, staff and faculty to become proficient in Zoom and other forms of virtual communication. It is easy to highlight the frustrations that came out of COVID-19 and the ensuing pandemic.
