    Made to Thrive

    Made to Thrive

Are you thriving? Not just surviving, but truly thriving. On today's show, we pick up on the last conversation with a functional medicine doctor, Dr. Tim Caraher. We discussed what it means to have wellness in order to be more creative. Now, let's talk about what it means to go beyond basic wellness and to thrive.

At some point in everyone’s life, we ask ourselves, is this it? You may reach a point in which you feel you’re not thriving, but just existing. This blah feeling is called languishing - The neglected middle child of mental health can dull your motivation and focus. In a TedTalk from Dr. Corey Keyes, he mentions the antidote for the feeling of languish is to flourish.

    Critical Thinking About Your Creativity

    Critical Thinking About Your Creativity

Let's talk about how we critically think, as well as how to use the power of observation to analyze our own thinking to get clear on what we really want.
We are so quick to judge others but how often do we stop and think about our own motivation for our behaviors? As Marcus Aurelius said, “Whenever you’re about to find fault with someone, ask yourself the following question...What fault of mine most resembles the one I am about to criticize?”
Many times we make decisions based on poor assumptions provided by misinformation. It’s important to critically think about why we believe what we believe and why we are making the current choice. Don’t let someone else set the agenda for your creative goals.

    Introducing ETHOS

    Introducing ETHOS

Hear why Elon Musk is on my bad side and how the end of the AM/FM car radio is actually a good thing. Also, get insight for getting started on your own creative project.
Plus, get a preview of something exciting that I am currently working on. It's a new media platform, on an app, called ETHOS.
For years, I had an idea of creating a positive Top 40 pop station that would be inspirational. An encouraging place to help people become the best version of themselves. From this idea comes ETHOS, which will feature music and podcasts that promote mental, physical, and spiritual wellness.
If you have any suggestions for a podcast host, app developer, or anything else that would help with ETHOS, text me on the Creative Coach Hotline: (559) 574-3210
