Pretty dang good

Wanna start out by saying that I listen to this pod all the time and really enjoy it! I’m assuming that the stories aren’t always written by professional writers since they’re from online sources like Creepypasta. With that in mind, they’re still pretty good for what they are. :)
The only complaints I have are with the music that is sometimes added and with one of the stories that was chosen. The music is often cheerful/serene and not really that fitting for a scary story, even if that particular part of the story isn’t scary. It’s just a little distracting and takes away from the creepiness.
My second complaint about is one of the stories that was chosen, which basically involved a woman who was blind (if I’m remembering correctly) and slept with some dude who snuck into her house pretending to be her husband, even though the beginning of the story described how well she could recognize her husband despite her lack of vision. What really bothered me was that this was a straight up story about rape, and the author wrote that the woman liked it... I don’t know, it kind of rubbed me the wrong way and seemed like it was written by some dude who wanted to express his Revenge of the Nerds-esque rape fantasy disguised as a scary story.

Other than that!!! I seriously REALLY do like this podcast and listen all the time despite these complaints. Just maybe take these comments into consideration. :) Thank you for all that you do, and keep up the good work!

Ep: The rake

About half way through, between the music/background noise and the narrators mumbling, I couldn’t make out half of what was being said. I’m not sure if he was trying to add some semblance of fear to his voice (it didn’t work) or if he was just trying to fit all of the lines into a single breath of air, but I was legit straining to make out words...unfortunately, the ones I could unscramble were just random snippets, so it didn’t help much.
