I know this audiobook was recorded sometime ago, but during the quarantine I found myself with more time to listen to classic audiobooks. This one is one of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to and the narrator does a wonderful job reading one of the most important and compelling pieces of literature in human history.
The reading reminds me of the times as a little little boy that my mother & I would sit in her bed listening to the radio as stories would be read with all kind of sound effects that would draw us into the stories. This is so soothing...
English speaker mimicking Russian accent!
I didn't like the narration since he was changing his accent when reading the dialogues. It was as if a Russian person is speaking English! This is an English translation of the book. Changing accent was unnecessary and distracting.
