We are a true-crime podcast that shares food and wine recommendations while telling a collection of incredible true stories. It‘s kind of like Dateline, meets 60 minutes, meets Oprah, meets Rachael Ray, only without the investigative journalism or professionalism. Join us each week as we cook, drink, and listen to each other tell real life stories of true crime, mystery, suspense, triumph, and much more!

Meeting With Murder
A husband catches his wife’s assassin in the act and kills him before he can kill again. He’s regaled as a hero but not all is as it seems because Mark is hiding a dark secret. His lover knows the ugly truth but how can an ex-girlfriend hold a secret? This week we cover the story of Mark Winger and his nearly perfect crimes.
Our food this week came right out of Illinois Country Living. For dinner, the signature sandwich of Illinois, the Horseshoe Sandwich. This unapologetic sandwich doesn’t try to be healthy, it’s simply delicious. For dessert, Cindy made another Illinois favorite, the raspberry torte. This recipe was a must-try. It was a beautiful treat. For drinks, we shared Grandma’s lemonade. This drink was trouble in the making.

Sarah, Sarah Pumpkin Eater
Sometimes the ones we love hurt us most. Sarah learned that her husband had been trying to hurt her and it wasn’t until she began secretly recording him one Thanksgiving, that she uncovered the scary truth. She took her video to TikTok and it went viral. This week she shares her story with us.
In true Crime Diner fashion, Cindy made a Thanksgiving dinner of roasted turkey, baked potatoes, and stuffing complete with pumpkin pie for dessert. We drank Stefan Winter Riesling which paired well with the turkey.

Armed Candy
This week we cover the real story behind the Hulu drama series, Candy. What would possess someone to kill in such a brutal manner? Why did Candy Montgomery kill her friend Betty Gore? We have the story but the answers might have to be asked of the killer herself.
For dinner, Cindy went with the theme of Texas. She made a Texas Oven Brisket and Texas caviar salad. For dessert, she made a white Texas sheet cake. The drink this time was a Tito's vodka mojito. Texas, your food was delicious!

This week we cover a story that will make you sad, enraged, and vindicated all in one shot. The Haunting story is known as the Oklahoma Girl Scout murders. Nearly 45 years ago, three Girl Scouts were brutally murdered at a sleepaway camp. After Decades of investigative work and advancements in DNA technology, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is ready to close the case. Listen to find out what happened that night, why it took so long to solve, and what new evidence came to light.
For dinner, Cindy went with a camping theme and made Oklahoma fried onion burgers. For dessert, we shared thin mint cheesecake. This recipe is a must if you are a fan of the famous Girl Scout cookies. Our drink this week was Oyster River red wine, a unique, medium-bodied, red wine coming from Maine

Witch Please
During World War II an all-female group of military aviators of the 588th Night Bomber Regiment was terrorizing Nazis under the stealth of the night sky. These women were nicknamed the Night Witches. They had nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Cindy goes full-on Russian with a one-pot meal called Plov because Night Witches don’t have time to cook. She made a sour cream cake called Smetannik that was worth leaving room for and for drinks we shared some amazing Moscow Mules.

Bloody Maggie
In the late 60s, in a small town in Mexico, there existed a ruthless killer who was quite literally a maneater. Magdalena Solis known as the High Priestess of Blood, took the people of Yerbabuena and used them for blood sacrifices and sexual rituals.
For dinner, Cindy made a traditional Mexican meal of chicken enchiladas verdes. They were finger-licking good. For dessert, she made a strawberry margarita cake that was spongy and tangy. We shared some delicious tequila sunrises. These did not disappoint.
