Delusional

I cannot believe Barbara’s delusion towards that psychopath! Was the sex that good to put your entire family at such risk!!!!!
Bait and switch

These reviews are for Dirty John, but the podcast has been rebranded and is now a ripoff of Crimes of the Centuries, a long established crime and history podcast that has even covered some of the same cases. It seems unsavory to reuse a popular podcast feed to rip off someone else’s work.
Disappointed

I really enjoyed Dirty John but am disappointed that this feed has now been taken over by a completely different podcast that sounds just like so many others right now. I know it’s the same host so I would have loved more content in the vein of Dirty John.
Revictimizing the victims?

Just listened to the episode of The Dream podcast that does a deep dive into how Dirty John was actually made. It certainly appears that the LA Times and Goddard misrepresented and took advantage of their subjects here. Now I feel a little dirty for being complicit by listening in on a story that in retrospect clearly did not center the victim’s experience.
