Narrator ruins it

This is so unfortunate. The content in podcast episodes is really good but the narrator is probably one of the worst I’ve heard. His monotone, mumble, zero inflection voice is painful to listen to. It sounds like the shy annoyed kid who is made to read multiple pages out loud in class. Frankly, it’s a talent how he can maintain his lack of inflection…and it’s disturbing that he reads the stories of the victims as a program manual.

Much to like

How refreshing to have cold cases that are solved,, much needed. Applause
As you showcase storytelling and have great information to share and details of the times which is so cool, it may be to your benefit to notch it up by delivering a more nuanced presentation. Or have someone else present the story. As it is you sound so uninterested in what you are saying and cannot get it out fast enough and it sounds unprofessional and a drag for you. And only small changes may help the least of which is to show interest also to learn about speaking skills, practice and prepare your material. .listen to your self, and try more, try to capture someone’s attention and show a modicum of excitement and interest. Otherwise it just sounds as though you don’t give a hoot , youwant to get it over with and don’t accept feedback or want to put in a little effort and grow. I say this because you’ve a great idea, obviously do good research and can attract an audience. I think you could be dynamic and highly rated and respected.
Thanks for reading this
And your work . Such potential!
