Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi, Thrasher, and Alex Miller discuss the fourth film in the original Critters saga. Charlie (Don Keith Opper) is put into carbon freeze with two Critters eggs, but they get picked up decades later by the RSS Tesla. Starring Angela Bassett, Brad Dourif, and Terrance Mann.
Going for an Alien pastiche, Critters 4 shows a spark or two of cleverness with its cast of genre favorites. There's also a sassy elevator. While pretty low on Critters action until the end, we get an oddball crew to pal around with and moody lighting. Not a bad sequel. Not at all.
