Today, Rob looks at Joshua’s priorities and how they affected his choices as well as the impact they had.

DON’T FORGET TO REMEMBER
DON’T FORGET TO REMEMBER
1 CORINTHIANS 11:23-29
What is the Lord’s Supper, and why do we celebrate it? This is an important question to reflect on. Many elegant and costly meals have been served as celebrations over the centuries. Yet the Communion table is the costliest table ever set. This week Rob explains the Lord’s Supper and its importance for each of us.

DINING AT THE TABLE OF DISAPPOINTMENT
DINING AT THE TABLE OF DISAPPOINTMENT
2 CORINTHIANS 12:7-10
How we respond to disappointments determines God’s freedom to use us as well as our ability to thrive in a fallen world. How we respond determines whether we sink or soar. Someone has said that behind the most radiant lives are often the most bitter trials. Don’t waste your disappointments! In this passage, Paul encounters a disappointment that he embraces. Listen to hear how Paul embraced it and the results he experienced.

MEMORIAL DAY
MEMORIAL DAY 2022
ROMANS 1:18-32
Dr. James D. Whitmire, Minister of Music
Why do we have Memorial Day? Memorials mean something and are a way of teaching history. The Hebrews had memorials to help them remember and to help them teach the next generation what God had done for them in the past. In the United States, Memorial Day is to remember those who have died for our freedom. It is a time to reflect on the high price of freedom, why it is so valuable, and what we need to do to continue to live free under God’s hand of blessing. -
MOTHERS’ DAY 2022
MOTHERS’ DAY
ACTS 9:36-46
In honor of Mothers’ Day, we will look at the life of Dorcas, a follower of Jesus who reflected Him by serving others. Dorcas lived a life that was full of God’s goodness, fashioned for His glory, and furthered the Gospel. God wants to use you similarly, with the gifts He has given you – even if you think you have nothing to offer Him. God made you with a unique purpose in mind. Jesus wants to breathe life into what we may see as minimal, insignificant, and mundane with real life for His glory. We are to follow Jesus, using the gifts He gives – simple as some might seem, loving others, ultimately pointing others to Jesus.
