    Purging the Military of Wokeness

On January 25th, Pete Hegseth was sworn in as the 29th Secretary of Defense. He promised to eradicate wokeness from the military and has as his mission to revive the warrior ethos and restore trust in the military and to rebuild it by matching threats to capabilities and reestablish deterrence by defending the homeland. Returning to Crosstalk to discuss this issue was Elaine Donnelly. Elaine is president of the Center for Military Readiness, an independent, nonpartisan public policy organization that reports on and analyzes military/social issues. Since its founding in 1993, CMR has advocated for high, uncompromised standards in all forms of military training and sound priorities in the making of military/social policies.Elaine began by noting that the Biden administration made it clear from day one that they were going to pursue a very liberal social agenda/experiment in the military. They would take the transgender agenda to extremes that weren't even seen under President Obama. This brought the word "woke" to our vocabularies. She defined this as taking progressivism to extremes and posing it with coercion, even if it hurts the institution.Elaine brought her opinions concerning the Pete Hegseth confirmation hearings, how he's been doing on the job thus far, military readiness (including women in the military), Christian and pro-life groups targeted by the Army, access to the military by those with gender dysphoria, and much more including calls from listeners.

    Health & Privacy Concerns

Twila Brase is President and Co-founder of Citizens' Council for Health Freedom, a national patient-centered, privacy-focused, free-market policy organization to support health care choices, individualized patient care and medical and genetic privacy. Twila is a certified public health nurse and author of the eight-time award-winning book, Big Brother in the Exam Room: The Dangerous Truth About Electronic Health Records. She is the speaker on the daily Health Freedom Minute heard on stations across the nation. We are only 3.5 weeks into the Trump Administration. Issues, matters and actions are moving so very quickly where each day's news is equivalent to multiple weeks' worth of news just a month ago. The curtains are being pulled back exposing more and more corruption. One of the areas we've been monitoring is health and privacy issues. For instance, our country was on a fast track to come to an agreement on a pandemic treaty. However the Trump Administration is pulling us out of the World Health Organization. The HHS has been subpoenaed for records on Covid-19 Vaccine Safety and records with Dr. Fauci's communications.Just hours ago, the U.S. Senate made a procedural vote to advance the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., to lead the Dept. of Health and Human Services. The final vote is to take place tomorrow (Thursday).Yet, amidst all of this, there are continued concerns about individual privacy, REAL ID, and the push toward a social credit system.

Participants included the Naval Academy Glee Club, the Naval Academy Midshipmen, the Marine Corps Band and various members of Congress. Several participants led in prayer, and of course, President Trump was in attendance. While the event was getting ready, Congressman Jerod Huffman of California was across the street, making his way to the Capitol, not to participate, but to protest as he accused Speaker Mike Johnson of violating the so-called separation of church and state.Jim presented audio from Congressman Huffman and then gave William Federer an opportunity to take listeners through a timeline from American history. Review this edition of Crosstalk and decide for yourself if Congressman Huffman is displaying, as Federer noted, "...either complete ignorance of our history or it's projection where they blame you for what they're doing."Listeners from around the nation weighed in on this topic as well.

Dr. Richard Schmidt is pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church and founder of Prophecy Focus Ministries. He is the speaker on the weekly TV program, Prophecy Focus and the radio broadcast, Prophecy Unfolding. He spent 32 years in law enforcement until his retirement. He has authored several books including: Are You Going to a Better Place and Artificial Intelligence: Transhumanism. As you'll discover on this broadcast, the development and proliferation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is moving at breakneck speed. Now President Trump has announced the Stargate Initiative while China has released the AI app called DeepSeek. DeepSeek has been downloaded by millions despite concerns that information it collects is going back to China. President Trump's Stargate Initiative is said to be the largest AI infrastructure project in history costing 500 billion dollars. Larry Ellison, co-founder and executive chairman of Oracle, has indicated that the 20 massive data banks that will be part of the project will deal with some positive outcomes including curing cancer and other diseases. What's of concern is all of the data that will be put into the system. Dr. Schmidt noted that Ellison wants to get everyone's medical or financial information and let computers do what doctors and economists used to do. Is this setting the stage for the infrastructure that the Antichrist will use during the tribulation period? Should we be concerned that while there will be some positive outcomes from this that President Trump may not completely understand where all this is headed? Discover the answers when you review this edition of Crosstalk.

Is the Answer a New Pope?

Mike Gendron is founder and director of Proclaiming the Gospel Ministry. Mike was a devout Roman Catholic for over 3 decades and was taught to rely upon the authority of the church above all else. Mike searched the Scriptures and was amazed to find that what he read in Scripture contradicted the teaching and tradition of the church he had been a part of for so long. He trusted Jesus as his Savior and now the Bible has become his sole authority in all matters of faith. Mike is the author of the books, Preparing for Eternity and Contending for the Gospel and has produced numerous videos with warnings concerning false teachings vs. the truth of the Scriptures. There are numerous concerns regarding Pope Francis. Some have pointed to his ecumenical stance. We've seen his coming together with Islam, his praise of Buddhism and promotion of liberation theology. There's his softening of the stance on homosexuality or the relaxing of rules that previously barred men with deep seeded homosexual tendencies from entering the priesthood. Then in December, Pope Francis (who has accused Israel of genocide) prayed before what was called a 'politicized' Palestinian nativity scene as the baby Jesus wasn't wrapped in swaddling clothes, but instead was wearing a keffiyeh, a symbol of Palestinian resistance. Roman Catholicism has a long history of veering from Scripture. There's their false view of Matthew 16:18 from which they derive their origin. There's purgatory, infant baptism for regeneration, transubstantiation, the selling of indulgences, the sinlessness of Mary and so much more. However, now it seems that the Pope is in some ways moving away from church tradition as well.
