Today’s guest is San Antonio artist Cruz Ortiz. We sat down at his Southside studio and talked about his punk rock roots and early days in the industry, the creation and evolution of his signature style, his foray into teaching, landing big-time career opportunities, and how he went from painting illegal murals with friends to representing some of the country’s premier brands, companies, and politicians, including a 2020 presidential candidate.
