Christine J. Ko, MD, is a Professor of Dermatology and Pathology at Yale University. She is an advocate of connection between practitioner and patient and recently published a book on the subject, How to Improve Doctor-Patient Connection: Using Psychology to Optimize Healthcare Interactions. She also is interested in novel methods of democratizing medical knowledge and is working on a visual app that gamifies skin cancer recognition.
