He had recently been given the all-clear from bowel cancer and contracted covid which sadly resulted in his death. This week Karen joins the podcast to talk about bowel cancer, vagina cancer and her recent diagnosis of a brain tumour. Karen has been treated at all of our hospitals for various different surgeries. Despite all of the sadness and worry, she has been through she is still smiling and still loves life! We discuss adapting to living life with a colostomy bag and the mental health side of receiving bad news frequently. Karen offers advice to others on what she has been through and most importantly she advises anyone to always get everything checked out.

Arlo has a super rare condition called Hydrocephalus which causes fluid to build on the brain.
