10/10, esp for recovering fundamentalists of ALL ideologies!
13 mars
An under-talked about healing benefit to recovering from fundamentalism, whether religious or secular, is to explore your curiosity! Lauren and Adam have been doing this out loud for years. Their wit, sincerity, and humble humor is a testament to the power of joy in overcoming the depression, shame, and bewilderment many of us find ourselves wrestling through after leaving a high-demand ideology. Lauren and Adam’s self-permission to explore topics from spirituality to atheism, health to pop culture, sex to celibacy, helps nurture our own self-permission to explore these, so that we might all find and live in our own truth.
100% woo woo + woohoo

Curiocity is one of my favorite podcasts. They curate an array of guests that aren’t on the typical podcast circuit and bring new perspectives without the typical infomercial vibe of bigger shows. I’m always interested to see what I’ll learn next! If I’m being honest, though, I most look forward to the host/s’ own episodes. I love Lauren and Adam— they have the best solos/convos on everything from atheism and indigenous spirituality to manifestation and theme parties. Their own connective and curious approach to life seems to come through in how they source the podcast guests, and even in how they edit the podcast— they keep it real in the most fun way.
A bit of everything
11 mars
This is such a fun show, mixed with expert opinions, personal advice, hot takes, and unedited emotion! If you are looking for something that is a little bit of everything, doesn’t take itself too seriously, but also talks about the serious parts of life, this is the show for you. And I am not just saying that because I have been on it! I wish there were more honest looks at the minds of people on Podcasts, like this one.
