After a real quick run down of how he got down to Elon we get into how each of his stops along the way have left an impression on him and how he’s molded them together to work with his athletes. He then dives into how the past 18 months have impacted his decisions leading into our first true offseason in a two years. This includes some self audits on what they had the athlete’s do during their time home, and some issues that arose because they may have moved too fast too soon. He then talks us through some of the direction he see’s his program going into this offseason and the season with his basketball players.

This week I had the pleasure of sitting down and talking about building a re-education phase in your training plan with Aj Kerr. After a run down of how he got down to Wofford we start to talk about how this past 15 months have impacted what we have been looking to do with our athletes. This leads AJ into how he has reevaluated his program, what has changed, and these changes have had a positive impact on the student athletes. We then talk about how the change in focus of having the answers to looking to ask the questions has made a huge impact on what he does with the men and women there. We finish off talking about some lessons from the pandemic and some positive influences it has had.
