    Mitch Freifeld (mitchellf.com) is an artist/painter originally from California. He worked for many years as a systems analyst in Silicon Valley, and now dedicates his time to painting seven days a week. He has lived in the Pacific Northwest for 22 years and lives with his delightful wife, Nancy.

    Mitch's oil paintings focus mainly on architecture using light and color for emphasis. His work can be seen at the Rental Sales Gallery at the Portland Art Museum, the Freed Gallery in Lincoln City, OR, and online at the UGallery.com

    Rachael Zur (rachaelzur.com)is a painter, born who was born in the Pacific Northwest. She uses experimental materials and bright colors in unexpected juxtapositions. Additionally, she incorporates her experience with dyslexia into her work to create energetic, movement-oriented compositions.

    Rachael is currently enrolled in the low-residency MFA program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), and simultaneously showing her work at Gallery 114 in Portland, Oregon's Pearl District.

    Rachael Zur's upcoming show "Chimeras and Underdogs" will be displayed Thursday December 7 - Saturday, December 30th at Gallery 114. Located at 1100 NW Glisan Street. Portland, OR 97209, the hours are Thursday-Sunday 11AM - 6PM. She'll have an artist talk on Saturday, December 9th from 1-2 PM, and then another talk - for children - on Sunday, December 17th from 1-2PM.

    Amy Ruedinger (amyruedinger.com) is a multi-media artist who is currently working in metals, specifically copper to create whimsical vessels and bowls. She inscribes onto these forms, uses old printmaking plates and adds details like bumps and horse hair to complete her forms.

    Amy is originally from Osh Kosh, Wisconsin, and has lived in the Northwest for over 16 years. Be sure to check out her work Sat/Sun, November 4th & 5th,2017 at the World Forestry Center, for the Sitka Center's annual artist invitational.
