The Leadership Chapter from GSA

I’ve been a follower for about a year and just listened to the leadership chapter from girl, stop apologizing. Diverse leaders is so important and something I’m extremely passionate about. The chapter articulated the message so well and I’m so grateful that message is getting out there.

She delivers the exact same keynote speech over and over again)

I first met Rachel at Brendon Burchard’s Experts Academy event. She did a fantastic keynote speech which was the BEST keynote among all other keynote speakers at the event. Her message resonated with me. It was until I heard about her recent interview with Brendon and got to know about her podcast. I subscribed immediately and started listening. I listened to most of her episodes and read her books. However, when it comes to her keynote speeches, I feel like I hear the same speech over and over again. I heard her speak 3 times; one on Brendon Burchard’s Experts Academy stage, another time on Kajabi Impact Summit and another one on Growth summit. I heard the exact same speech repeated 3 times! She starts off with Beyoncé song. Then she makes you stop dancing and then she makes you stand up and dance again with the song. Then continues by asking the audience engagement in her speech ( and she uses the exact same script) then she talked about her baby and pregnancy story and finally she talks about the hard things that you will face after the conference ( e.g, comparing yourself, O.P.O, etc). She says she doesn’t repeat the same speech twice, but I heard her say the exact same speech every time I heard her on the stage. I like her and follow her, but I don’t like hearing the same keynote speech many times. I challenge Rachel to find more creative ways and new scripts for her keynote speeches, otherwise people will get bored hearing her deliver the same speech over and over again.
