Fun Time and Enjoy the Dynamic
While there might be an overwhelming amount of options when it comes to true crime or spooky podcasts, what I personally really enjoy about Dark Chatter is the dynamic between the hosts. It very much feels like you're just hanging out with some friends while sharing crazy stories. Every podcast is is different and we all have different styles that we prefer. Some like over-produced shows with sound effects and obnoxious personalities, but I find the hosts just doing their thing and having fun at the same time to be refreshing (especially when things go off the rails, which is hilarious). Knowing where the podcast started and getting to see their growth over time has been rewarding.
Hope Dark Chatter continues to succeed and I will be eagerly awaiting more shenanigans from them.
Wish they recorded weekly
Once you get past their first few episodes it is amazing. The audio quality on the first few was not the best but who doesn’t have growing pains when first starting something new. I like to listen on my long runs and I find myself trying to join the conversation like I am there. Wish they recorded weekly.
