It's early Spring in Boulder, Colorado where we welcome The Lil Smokies from Montana and Emily Scott Robinson from Telluride to eTown Hall. The Lil Smokies have graduated from 'up and coming' to 'fully arrived' - they showcase their hyper-melodic brand of song-strong Bluegrass music. Emily Scott Robinson shares the stage with her sultry voice and plays a 'spooky' tune with Nick, Helen and The eTones. Also, Christina Carlson, from Urban Peak in Denver, talks to Nick about youth and homelessness.

eTown Time Capsule - City And Colour - mmeadows - Jon Goldstein
Canadian Dallas Green is City and Colour. His buddy, Matt Kelly joins him onstage at eTown Hall to perform some amazingly soulful tunes. New Yorkers Kristin Slipp and Cole Kamen-Green are mmeadows. This husband and wife duo display their unique brand of electronica featuring Kristin's dynamic and soaring vocals. Jon Goldstein is a Senior Director at the Environmental Defense Fund. He sits down with Nick to discuss turning the wrench on leaking natural gas.

Keeping me going
Been a listener to E-town for years now, first on a local radio station and then online with podcasts when the station was bought by a “national conglomerate” and stopped carrying Etown.
With the pandemic and the loss of live music with friends and family this last year has been a tough one. This podcast brings back some of the joy of live shows and keeps my hopes going for days we can all be together again, sitting outside, and enjoying a concert together.
