Best DD Podcast, with a caveat

If you love Daredevil and/or want to hear thoughtful and insightful commentary from someone who is passionate about the character, this is a must listen. I’ve just listened to every episode and I hope there will be more. When Dave is actually reading and commenting on Daredevil comics this is a 5-star podcast, but unfortunately Dave often gets bogged down by his own expectations and reading plans for the podcast that don’t pan out, and he spends significant chunks of episodes detailing all of his mental processes on those matters. This can be wearying, but part of that I’m sure has to do with me binging every episode.

What a Labor of Love!

Dave clearly adores the Daredevil character. His passion shines through each and every episode. I’ve listened to his coverage of Frank Miller’s titles as I’ve read them, and I’ve found the podcast a terrific companion piece!

I only held off on awarding the full five stars because of the airtime dedicated to emails. In all honesty, those segments draw my interest far less than the focus on the comics themselves.

Regardless, I sincerely appreciate the impressive amounts of preparation and care Dave clearly dedicates to this labor of love! Thank you, Dave!
