David Wilson interview-Memories of Frank Broyles The Packaged Tourist Show

    • Books

Tonight, our featured guest is author David Wilson. David was born and raised in Arkansas and he presently works at the University of Arkansas but he also spent nearly three decades of his life in Missouri where he worked as a journalist, teacher, and school principal while obtaining his PHD at the University of Missouri.

David published his first book “Learning Every Day” in 2017. In 2020 he released two more books, “Growing Up with Pro Football” and “If you can deal with parking, you can deal with anything” and last month he released his fourth book “Learning More Every Day” a compendium of David Wilson’s columns where he discusses education, history, sports, and personal insights on faith and personal growth.

But tonight we will be discussing a subject close to David’s heart: his memories and insights of the late Frank Broyles, the legendary coach of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks football team from 1958 to 1976. Last Sunday August 14 marked the 5th anniversary of Broyles’ death at the age of 92.
