Dawn Lieske: How I Stayed Sober When My Family Didn’t Sober Podcast

    • Mental Health

Dawne Lieske joins the Sober Podcast as our soberlebrity guest today with our host Jamie Brickhouse to share how she continued her own path in sobriety throughout her family battling their own addictions. After doing the work to stay sober for herself, Dawne started noticing warning signs of a pain pill addiction within her relationship with her husband. Instead of placing judgment on her partner, she was able to practice love, compassion, and understanding due to the tools she learned throughout her own sobriety. By reaching out for help from others, she was able to help her husband find the help he needed through detox.
Dawne has stood by not only her husband, but her son as well. Listen to her own learning process in setting boundaries with her son while he had his first introduction with sobriety. If you are struggling with a loved one’s using, please tune in to hear another incredible journey on the Sober Podcast.
