Worth the listen.
The positives...The new format works. In the old format, it seem like they struggled to produce daily news. In the new format, content is not an issue. The news is delivered in a concise and informative fashion. For the most part, Tom and Zac know their subject matter, although they could research some items a bit more thoroughly.
The negatives...If Zac were a superhero, his name would be Echo. Too many times, he seems to repeat what his partner Tom had just said. He needs to come a bit stronger with his own take, even if he and Tom agree.
Underrated and Underappreciated
Hoping this review isnt too late since its been a few months since the last episode aired, but during their, "seasons" each episode is somthing i'd look forward to every week. The boys have my respect, because they take a pretty even handed approach and walk that fine line of delivering us the most relevant and accurate information so that i dont have to spend my own time researching these topics, while also not getting too caught up in the "compairison of worlds" with the MCU, or the (lets face it) anger/ depression that comes with being a DC fan given the bewildering decisions Warner continues to make. There have been some issues with the editing and publishing of their episodes, but i get the sense that theres no squad of editors, producers, and sound designers supporting them, these are just two (sometimes three) dudes taking time out of their lives that are likely no busier that any of ours to put this thing together for us, so they get a free pass from me. The only OTHER thing is they dont always address the latset rumors/controversies, but again these guys are probably the familiar faces at their local comics shop. Not Oleson with the inside scoop, so that they'd know more about such things than you or i i think is an unfair assumption. Its gotta be tricky to find things to stay positive about given the curent state of our Universe, but they somehow manage it. Keep up the good work guys, i hope to hear you back on the airwaves soon!
What I like about this podcast is that goes straight to the point keeping it interesting. Love the show my only wish it’s for the show to be a little longer. Saludos desde Puerto Rico.
