Dealing with Heartbreak | Girl on a Train S3 E13 Girl on a Train

    • Personal Journals

Happy Friday! This week's episode is a little bit different than what you were expecting...

In today's episode, I play you the audio of a video I made earlier this year entitled "A Voicemail to Life". “A Voicemail to Life” was inspired by my thoughts these last few months. It seemed that everyone around me was in love and truthfully I felt very left out. After much self-reflection and isolation while in Florida, I realized that I also am in love. Not with a person per se, but with life. My zest for being alive is not like anyone else’s I have ever came into contact with. And that is something I am forever grateful for. I challenge everyone, in a relationship or not, to fall in love with their life. You only get one shot at this.

🎥 Creative Direction Notes:

I picked the song “State Lines” by Novo Amor to represent Florida’s state lines, aka the shoreline.

I used a voicemail approach to represent trying to make a call to your past significant other. They don’t answer and you are left with a self-reflection voicemail that allows you to finally escape the feeling of not ever finding love.

Enjoy the episode!

Thank you, guys, for listening. I love you all.
